What are the benefits of membership?

ASCA members are kept on the cutting edge of the strength and conditioning profession and will receive four (4) quarterly issues of the Strength and Conditioning Coach Magazine.  Additional ASCA members will receive:

         Access to the members only area on  the ASCA website providing access to 2005 and 2006 back issues of the Strength and Conditioning Coach Magazine.

         Monthly E-News letters advising of upcoming seminars, workshops and other ASCA activities.

What Services does the ASCA Provide?

What services does the ASCA Provide?
The ASCA provides education and professional services to the strength and conditioning profession.  This inclused coach education courses accredited with the ASC through the National Coach Accreditation Scheme.  Professional Coach recognition through the ASCA Professional Coaching Structure (more detailed information can be found on this structure at www.strengthandconditioning.org.   Additional services include:
  • Workshops
  • Conferences
  • Updating and reaccreditation information for maintaining coach accreditation and recognition
  • Opportunity to have articles published in the Strength and Conditioning Coach Magazine

Download the Membership Application Form and send to the ASCA together with payment of Membership Fees.

The Australian Strength and Conditioning Association is the industry and national peak body for Strength and Conditioning in Australia. It was established in 1992 to look after the interests of Strength and Conditioning Coaches in Australia and to give the industry a voice in discussions and negotiations with service providers.

It is the professional / educational body for strength and conditioning in Australia. Coach education is a central component of the functions of the ASCA this is conducted through accreditation courses, updating seminars and through the ASCA official journal "Journal of Australian Strength and Conditioning".
