Articles published in the S and C Coach Magazine represent the work of a variety of Australian and international authors published in the ASCA Magazine Strength
and Conditioning Coach. The association represents strength and
conditioning coaches and athletes and as such articles have a distinctly

The Book Of MuscleThe Book of Muscle by Ian King and Lou Schuler was
reseasled in the late 2003 in the US. The market response in the US caught the
attention of the New York Times who indicated they were tracking the book for
potential listing in their best sellers list! Mens Health also ran an 8 page
excerpt in the NOV/DEC issue of the US edition of Mens Health Magazine.
Estimated to have sold over 30,000 copies since being released this book is now

 The Australian Strength and Conditioning Association is the industry and national peak body for Strength and Conditioning in Australia. It was established in 1992 to look after the interests of Strength and Conditioning Coaches in Australia and to give the industry a voice in discussions and negotiations with service providers. It is the professional / educational body for strength and conditioning in Australia. Coach education is a central component of the functions of the ASCA this is conducted through accreditation courses, updating seminars and through the ASCA official journal "Journal of Australian Strength and Conditioning".
